Summer, Christmas, socialising, wine, music, fireworks....it's all busy and good, but I'm craving an end to the madness. Portrait of my friend Nadia, infused with fireworks from our local Carols by Candlelight, coincidently both images photographed at the same sports oval this summer.

'Sisters' was taken during a short family portrait session commissioned for Christmas. Always a busy time of year, everyone wants family photos. 2012 was the last year of I'll be doing this at St Mark's historical church in Hunters Hill. Next year I plan to be shooting something different, not sure yet what it'll be, just making the space to see what turns up. I've done 5 years of these wonderful portraits there, all with my darling, octogenarian camera assistant, Joyce.
